On December 28, the news came that Karl Gustaf “Gutta” Andersson has, at the age of 68, passed away in the suites of cancer. Gutta is a well-known “Farmen” icon and since the start in 2001 has been an expert farmer and mentor in the reality show. Unfortunately, he had to leave the program in 2017 due to health issues.
“It is true that our beloved father and husband have left us. He has been struggling with illnesses for some time and now his body couldn’t take it anymore. It’s sad, weird and very, very empty. It is a difficult time for the family and we miss him so much,” the family writes in a message The evening paper.

Hans Wincent’s first words about Gutta’s passing
Hans Vincent took over Gutta’s role in 2017 and he has since become a real viewer favorite. In the role of expert farmer and mentor, he assigns assignments and then gets to decide whether the participants have completed them or not. If they have completed the mission, he usually gives out a reward.
Now Hans Wincent has published a picture on Instagram of his friend Gutta.
“The guy who was involved in shaping Farmen has passed away. So glad I got to know him a little. In the picture from 2017, I’m offering wiener bread which was well approved by him. Rest in peace Guy.”, he writes in the post.
