Appearing in a program like Farmen Sweden is no bed of roses.
For an entire summer, a group of strangers will manage a farm – just as it was done 200 years ago. There is no electricity or running water. The participants are constantly attacked by gnats and rats in the walls. In addition to that, there is only a narrow range of food and other necessities.
And now it’s time for a new season.
This year’s participants include former blogger Dessie, Robinson participant Sandra Cucarano’s father Ciro Cucarano and Paradise hotel profile Cornelia Gyllborg.
In addition, three former participants move into Torpet for a chance for revenge.
The program is led by Anna Brolin who has Hans Wincent by her side who acts as a mentor and guides the participants during the course of the program.
– This season it has really exploded in many ways. It’s a very lovely group with strong characters who have to get along and relate to the 19th century environment. So it has been a summer with countless laughs, some mischief and strong emotions of all kinds from crying and despair to laughter and joy. Since it is a digital detox and mobile-free at the same time, there is room for long and many conversations between our farmers and it is fascinating to see how strong friendships are formed. The viewers will clearly get to take part in a very exciting season in many ways, says Anna Brolin.
