The Social Democrats want to allow farm sales of beer, wine and spirits – but via Systembolaget.
According to the Social Democrats, there is a risk that the government’s upcoming bill on farm sales will bring down Sweden’s alcohol monopoly.
Instead, the party proposes that both purchases and deliveries should go through Systembolaget.
Among other things, S wants Systembolaget to set up a special farm sales range.
The system company should also develop an app that can be used when visiting local breweries, wineries and distilleries.
According to the proposal, however, the buyers do not receive the drinks directly.
– If you are out on a farm, you can try the product and order it via an app or an ordering terminal. Systembolaget then delivers it to your home, says Fredrik Lundh Sammeli, vice chairman of the social affairs committee, at a press conference.
– But we also want to review the possibility for local producers to become agents for Systembolaget.
