Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

They don’t just make up on the ice in the SC playoffs.
Now the rivals Färjestad and Frölunda are also fighting in the transfer market.
Where FBK wants to exact its great revenge on the citizens of Gothenburg.

Bitter rivals Frölunda and Färjestad are currently settling in a heated SC quarter-final. But already now the big clubs are preparing for next season and the recruitment work is in full swing.

Färjestad’s revenge

Recently, it was reported that Frölunda won the battle for Gustav Rydahls signing for the next SHL season. A player who has previously had great success in Karlstad and won SM gold with FBK.

Therefore, it is a real prestige signing for the citizens of Gothenburg and now Färjestad wants to exact its great revenge after that signing. By bringing about his very own recruitment coup in front of Frölunda’s eyes.

Snuva Frölunda

It’s about the star player Carl Klingberg which has been housed in the Swiss league for the past seven seasons. But recently Klingberg himself revealed that he is leaving Zug after the season and has also opened up about a move back to Sweden again.

Several SHL clubs are interested, Sportbladet reports. Frölunda is one of the clubs, but Färjestad is also in contact with the 32-year-old forward, according to the evening newspaper’s information.

Won WC gold

A recruitment coup by Klingberg in front of Frölunda would be the perfect revenge for Färjestad after losing Rydahl. Carl Klingberg was brought up in Frölunda’s junior activities but left the club in 2011 and has not played on Swedish soil since then.

During his career, he has won World Cup gold with Tre Kronor, two championship titles in Switzerland and played in both the NHL and the KHL.
