A new game for Far Cry productions, one of Ubisoft’s biggest series, has appeared and some information has emerged. Far Cry 7 will take place in Alaska.
Although Ubisoft has been on the agenda with canceled games and dismissals recently, the company continues to operate. According to a report, improvements are being made for Far Cry 7 and the game will take place in Alaska.
Far Cry 7 appeared on the horizon
Although Dan Hay, one of the former directors of Far Cry, thinks that it will be planned as a single game until he leaves the company, Far Cry 7 will appear as two different productions. One is the story mode and the other is the multiplayer mode. The single-player project is called Project Blackbird, and the multiplayer game is called Project Maverick.
The multiplayer version of Project Maverick will be set in the wilderness of Alaska. As a species, it reports that it will be a looter-shooter. In our guess, the multiplayer experience that emerged as a co-op mode in previous games must have attracted the attention of players, as Ubisoft intends to present it as a completely separate game. My personal guess, looking at industry trends, is that this production will be distributed for free.
Of course, you may also think that all this is just a rumor. However, considering Ubisoft’s recently canceled games and dismissals, it is also soon for the company to announce new titles and contents so that it can take a good role on the agenda again.
