The director of Fantastic Four, which is expected to start a brand new era in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has finally been announced.
Although the Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently experiencing a major focus problem in its current phase, we can say that it will gain a great momentum with the 5th and 6th phases. Although we have started to see small clues, many new characters, especially the X-Men universe, are expected to join the MCU with this new period. The director of the Fantastic Four movie, which is among these and will start a new era for Marvel, has finally been announced.
Fantastic Four to be directed by Matt Shakman
According to Deadline’s report, Marvel has agreed with Matt Shakman to direct the highly anticipated Fantastic Four movie. Matt Shakman is already a name that has close relations with Marvel. As a matter of fact, among the projects he has signed recently is the WandaVision series broadcast on the Disney+ service.
Shakman, who previously worked on series-oriented projects such as Game of Thrones and The Boys, is also directing the new Star Trek movie. Along with the 47-year-old director, Fantastic Four, we are likely to see it frequently in future projects. Of course, this may depend a little on the success of the movie. There is also the possibility that we will see new information about Fantastic Four, and possibly the cast, during the upcoming D23 fair.
