They are a major income source for post-secondary schools, paying as much as five times More in tuition Than Domestic Students, But the Numbers Put Pressure on Housing Nationwide.

Fanshawe College has a budget this year of $ 537 million. Next Year, it’s set to be $ 338 million.

Devlin Said Enrolment of First Year International Students has dropped 41 per hundred from the winter semester of 2024. That drop in International Students Will Continue with More Steep Declines, He Said.

“Precarious workers have been made even more precarious in this landscape, and even full-time workers, with their Greater Protections, Are Worried by Talk of Layoffs and Program Suspensions,” He Said.

But the Bigger Story SHOULD BE “About Why Ontario Colleges Are Funded So Poorly” by Queen’s Park, He Said. “Tuition has been cut and capped, forcing colleges into highly vulnerable reliance on unregulated international stude tuition fees.”
