Caroline Victory38, announced today that she is ending her national team career.

— Now I have come to a decision, after 18 years in the national team, that it is over. It’s sad, but it’s true, says Seger in an interview on The Swedish Football Association’s website.

She debuted in the national team in 2005 and has since won several medals in blue and yellow: silver in the Olympics in 2016 and 2021, WC bronze in 2011, 2019 and 2023. In total, she has played 240 matches in the Sweden shirt, which is more than any other player has done.
