Fans lament the departure of one of the last original

Aram Mojtabai was the heart of The Blacklist. Sure, we all watch it for James Spader’s once-in-a-century performance as Reymond Reddington. But Amir Arison as Aram was both from the start Comic Relief and Voice of Reason in a world of murder and intrigue. He was The Blacklist’s Tyrion Lannister.

I always dreamed of Broadway and that ambition moved to television with hopes of a great series.

He auditioned for The Blacklist 9 years ago and for him the show had it all: “Drama, suspense, characters, humor, relationships and a universe full of rich characters (…)”.

But after almost a decade with The Blacklist, he wants to fulfill his first big dream and the Broadway adaptation of the novel The Kite Runner (originally: The Kite Runner) implement:
