Fortnite has officially confirmed its collaboration with popular manga and anime Jujutsu Kaisen.
This announcement was made after a leak revealed that Jujutsu Kaisen character cosmetics would be coming to the battle royale game.
Fortnite officially confirms Jujutsu Kaisen Crossover
Launched in 2017, Fortnite has made unique collaborations with various brands. Finally, in collaboration with Futurama, the fan-favorite trio introduced costumes based on Fry, Leela, and Bender, and a special weapon called Bendy’s Shiny Metal Raygun. Epic Games’ game has previously included characters in the game in cooperation with Marvel, Disney and many animation studios.
As part of the upcoming collaboration, Fortnite announced that it will add Jujutsu Kaisen skins to the game. In a video shared on Twitter, the game was shown with two characters making shadow puppets on the wall, which then turned into cursed creatures. The wall then broke, revealing the sorcerer heroes Satoru Gojo, Megumi Fushiguro, Yuji Itadori, and Nobara Kugisaki. Additionally, Fortnite stated in a follow-up tweet that the Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration will be available at version 25.30, which means it’s likely to be released next week.

Many Fortnite fans expressed their excitement for the costumes, sharing that they can’t wait to play their favorite Jujutsu Kaisen characters in the game. Others continued to request other anime collaborations like Demon Slayer and Chainsaw Man.
Fortnite and Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration arouses curiosity
Fortnite’s Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration is very timely, with the anime’s second season premiering. Part of this season focuses on Gojo’s past. While the game has yet to reveal whether it will include exclusive Jujutsu Kaisen-themed cosmetics and weapons in the update, the trailer shows Yuji using his cursed energy and Nobara’s metal hammer and nails.
According to some leaks, the battle royale game is also planned to make more fun collaborations in the future. However, most of them do not have a release date yet. One of them, the Fortnite x Doctor Who collaboration, is still in development and is expected to be released later this year.
