Fans find 4 details that show Jinx’s post-Arcane story may not be over after all

With Arcane Season 2, the series ended and many characters received a definitive fate. But there is more to the fate of fan favorite Jinx than meets the eye. Fans have found details that point to a much more open ending.

Spoiler alert: The following article contains spoilers about the ending of Arcane Season 2.

What happens to Jinx at the end of Arcane Season 2? In the final battle against Viktor’s army, Jinx and Vi meet Warwick, who is completely controlled by Viktor. A tough fight ensues in a large tower.

There, Jinx saves Vi and falls down the tower with Warwick. This makes it look like Jinx died. A tough fate for such a popular character. However, many fans are of the opinion that this was not the end of Jinx. As an argument, they use plausible clues that can be discovered in the series and outside of it.

Fans believe Jinx is alive

What are these clues? @joygotjinxed has summarized 10 pieces of evidence on x.com that are supposed to show that Jinx is not dead at all, but survived the fall. We show you the 4 most plausible indications.

The first two pieces of evidence are essentially a combination. Just before Jinx and Warwick collide, we see a flash of pink appear. This is reminiscent of Jinx’s super speed, which is often portrayed that way.

A short time later we see Caitlyn holding the remains of a monkey bomb and looking at the Hexgate plans. You can also see a kind of escape tunnel there. Caitlyn takes a close look at that too.

At the end of the last episode you see an airship flying away. Of course, the first question that arises is who should actually fly with it. Jinx fits the pattern perfectly.

In the first episode of the series in season 1, Jinx, still the young Powder, says that she will also fly such an airship. In Act 3 of the final season, Jinx speaks to an imaginary Silco who advises her to run away so that her cycle will end.

The third strong indication is Ella Purnell, the voice of Jinx and the creator Christian Linke. In an Afterglow episode about Act 3 (via YouTube), Ella Purnell is asked if Jinx is really dead. She replies: We don’t know. We leave it open to interpretation.

In an interview (via Twitch), Christian Linke spoke about Jinx and Ekko’s relationship and says: And I think it’s worth it for their story to continue. You probably wouldn’t say something like that about dead characters.

A final plausible clue can be found in the Artifect Edition of the book “The Art and Making of Arcane”. This is written from Jinx’s perspective and alongside comments on characters like Ekko, the packaging says several times in English: I live.

How plausible are these indications? Jinx has now become the mascot of League of Legends and Arcane. Letting them die sounds strange at first, but since Jayce and Viktor were given a final ending, for example, it’s not entirely impossible.

However, the evidence strongly suggests that Jinx is still alive. Showing an airship at the end without any further information about who is inside seems unusual in a series like Arcane, which is full of hidden details.

Even the details outside the series don’t seem accidental. Leaving a death open in a spoiler conversation is a good argument for Jinx’s survival. The lines on the art book will not have been written purely for stylistic reasons either.

The art book shows many details and new information about the series. It is unlikely that we will ever find out anything concrete about this. Jinx doesn’t fit into the possible new series for League of Legends: Riot explains what will happen after the end of Arcane – 3 more series planned
