Cyberpunk 2077 has been making players pretty happy since Update 2.0 and the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion, and they’re even asking for a live-action adaptation on reddit. CD Projekt Red has even announced this now.

I just have to say that this game is really amazing. In my 25 years of life, I’ve had the pleasure of playing numerous games and I have to say that Cyberpunk 2077 now ranks among the best, at least in my opinion.

Will there be a live-action adaptation? The answer is: yes. It was only on October 5th that CD Projekt Red announced that it was working on a live-action adaptation of the cyberpunk universe in collaboration with the production company Anonymous Content.
Anonymous Content was founded in 1999. Since then, the company has produced films and television series worldwide. Her portfolio includes, among others, the Netflix hit series Dead Girls Don’t Lie and The Revenant, for which lead actor Leonardo di Caprio won his first Oscar award.
According to CD Projekt Red, the cyberpunk project is still in the early stages of development. Authors are currently being sought for a completely new story in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. A timely release is not yet expected. Until then, you can shorten the waiting time with the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which is part of the official Cyberpunk canon and is on Netflix.
