The Venom 3 has been in pre-production since February 2022. This means that all important preparations for the shooting are currently being made. An important part of this is the casting. While Tom Hardy’s return in the titular lead has long been certain, there is now first newcomer.
As Deadline has learned from its sources, Juno Temple is joining the Marvel sequel. Temple has appeared in both films and series in the past. Her filmography includes the HBO production Vinyl, the DC blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises and the feel-good hit Ted Lasso.

Ted Lasso in particular has recently given Temple a boost in popularity. The one she embodied Keeley Jones is one of the biggest fan favorites in the acclaimed dramedy that is coming to an end as part of Season 4 on Apple TV+. After that, Temple is ready to plunge into the Marvel Universe for the first time in Venom 3.

Exactly what role Juno Temple will play in Venom 3 is unclear. But we know who in the film the creative reins in her hands: Kelly Marcel, who has already worked on the screenplays of the first two parts, will direct and write the screenplay. She thought up the story with Hardy.
Marvel sequel: When will Venom 3 hit theaters?
The theatrical release of Venom 3 is not yet certain. Since the project is in a very early stage of production, we shouldn’t plan on starting Late 2024/early 2025 calculate. Before Venom 3, three other films from Sony’s Marvel universe await us: Kraven the Hunter, Madame Web and El Muerto.
