Ali Kuşçu

Ali Kuşçu, an astronomer, mathematician and scholar of theology, was born in 1403 in Samarkand, on the territory of the Timurid Empire. Ali Kuşçu was appointed as a professor to the Hagia Sophia Madrasa after Fatih Sultan Mehmet’s Uzun Hasan expedition. He died on December 16, 1474.
