The popular chef and Instagram profile Navab Ebrahimi, who was arrested in Iran earlier in January, has been released on bail, according to the human rights organization HRANA, among others.

He was detained on January 4 during the Iranian regime’s attempt to end the widespread protests in the country, and was then taken to Evin prison in Tehran.

According to HRANA, there is no information about what he is accused of.

Navab Ebrahimi is best known for his videos on Instagram where he cooks classic Persian food.

According to the UN, at least 14,000 people have been arrested since the protests began in September, after the young woman Mahsa Zhina Amini died in the custody of the morality police.

Prominent journalists, filmmakers, lawyers and activists have been arrested, among other things. Some have been released on bail, while others remain in custody.
