Born June 24, 1944 in the south suburbs of London, UK, he is considered one of the greatest rock, hard rock, blues and even jazz guitarists of all time, not least for his innovative style of playing. electric guitar, alongside Eric Clapton, and Jimmy Page with whom he played in the group The Yardbirds. He had also founded at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s the hard rock group The Jeff Beck Group with singer Rod Stewart and guitarist Ron Wood, before a long solo career.
He has won numerous awards and accolades, including eight Grammy Awards, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.
