Sofia Geite’s salary – this is how much she earns
It turns out that Sofia Geite is in no trouble financially. Figures from Tax Agency as News24 taken note of shows that she had a determined earned income of SEK 1,145,000 in 2023.
This gives her a luxurious monthly salary of just over SEK 95,000. Not bad!

Meeting love at work is not unusual – and that was also the case for Sofia Geite. She is married to the TV4 sports journalist Johan Edlund53.
Together they have two children: the daughters Elsa and Ester. From a previous relationship with the industry colleague Jessica Almenäs has Johan Edlund the son Jack. He is thus the bonus son of Sofia Geite.

In an interview with Hänt, Geite has revealed that she and her husband met for the first time at the coffee machine. She had just left a relationship, but still chose to agree to a first date.
– Then we continued to hang out all summer and we’ve been hanging out like that ever since. First the sparks struck for him and then they struck for me, she tells the newspaper.
Even though the spouses have the same employer, it is unusual for them to run into each other at work.
– We never see each other at work because he works at sports and I at Nyhetsmorgon, so we never see each other there. He is often out at various arenas and so on to comment on hockey or athletics. For us, it’s probably nice that you don’t work in the same editorial office. We have the same workplace but not at the same job, says Geite Happened.

Sofia Geite and her husband Johan live in a 90 square meter apartment in Stockholm’s inner city. According to figures from Booli, it is valued at between SEK 8.8 and 9.7 million.
On Instagram, Sofia Geite has over 21,000 followers and the content mostly consists of Nyhetsmorgon-related images.
But every now and then she posts pictures of her and Johan’s apparently top-renovated apartment.
Sofia Geite’s parents – lost her father in 2022
In the autumn of 2022, Sofia Geite lost her father. A couple of weeks after his passing, she shared an emotional post dedicated to him.
“The missing of your daily text messages, goodnight calls, your support, your train journeys to Stockholm, your tireless playfulness that you showed the children, your hugs and your proud parental eyes, in just about everything me and my family took care of, is enormous. The sadness is bottomless and the tears seem to fill up rather than their own…”, writes Geite in the post.
Sofia Geite comes from a large family and has four sisters, from whom she received great support during the tough period.
