Family-friendly Twitch streamer wants to spread a good mood in CoD MW2, switches off chat after 1 second

The Twitch streamer NickEh30 actually makes content about Fortnite, but is also trying the newly released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Most recently, with his cheerful nature, he wished everyone a good game. But his teammates weren’t that open to it.

Who is the streamer?

  • Nicholas “NickEh30” Amyoony is one of the biggest game content creators on YouTube (6.62M subscribers) and Twitch (4.2M followers).
  • But NickEh30 is also one of the best Fortnite players in the world. He gained notoriety in 2020 when he attempted to openly cheat in a charity tournament.
  • Now NickEh30 is trying to image the family-friendly streamer who wants to score with good vibes and optimism.
  • What happened now? In one of his recent streams, NickEh30 played a few rounds of Modern Warfare 2. While playing, the streamer noticed: “Spreading good vibes doesn’t seem to work here.”

In the rounds, the voice chat was often less pleasant to listen to. But in one round, particularly nasty players got through. NickEh30 once again praised everyone after a win with a “Good Game” and, as he had predicted, received rather wild answers.

Another player’s initial reaction was, “You suck, N**. Shut up bitch.” Another noted, “You’re the bottom of the scoreb-” but got no further. NickEh30 exited the voice chat with a slightly resigned smile.

    “You suck, N**, shut up”

The fact that parts of the CoD community can be quite toxic is always an issue and a major criticism of the game. Even in Modern Warfare (2019), there was sometimes such a rough tone that developers wished children dead.

The creators of Call of Duty apparently also see this behavior as a problem. It was only in September 2022 that news broke that over 500,000 toxic player accounts had been banned and another 300,000 had to change their names. As early as 2021, 350,000 accounts were blocked for toxic behavior.

As can be seen in NickEh30’s clip, this probably only helps to a limited extent and the fight against toxic players should be as endless as the fight against cheaters. There are simply always some to follow.

In fact, there’s another rather strange discussion between stubborn parties going on in the community right now:
