In this update, we welcome two new Public Events, Safe and Sound and Beasts of Burden, as well as two new cryptids, Blue Devil and Ogua. Players who already own Fallout 76 can access the Once in a Blue Moon update today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4/5 and PC.
Safe and Sound
The Middle Mountain Cabins has been restored and turned into the newest and largest Brahmin retreat, but unexpected guests seem to haunt them frequently. Players are tasked with fending off these creatures and repairing The Repeller Speaker system to keep the Brahmins safe and calm and repel them.
Beasts of Burden
Luca Costa needs help after a group of native Cultists capture their Brahmins and a load of makeshift explosives. Players must help Luca Costa without his uncle Vinny knowing. There were rumors of strange noises in the forest, so players should be on guard not to disturb the animals in the area.
Once in a Blue Moon also comes with Fallout 76’s 13th season, Shoot for the Stars. This season, players will explore old Hollywood movie sets as they rise through the 100 ranks to collect rewards that are even greater for Fallout 1st members.
