Fallout 76 is bringing a big raid with its latest update, just like in Destiny 2

The “Radiant Depths” update has started in Fallout 76 and with it its first raid. This throws tough bosses and strong loot at you. Destiny 2 raiders in particular could see a challenge here.

What kind of update is this? The “Radiant Depths” update brings the first raid to Fallout 76. It lets you break into a laboratory in the Enclave to face dangers and, if possible, eliminate them.

The bosses are tough and much stronger than those in normal Appalachia events, so it’s important to start with the best endgame builds and strong comrades. We’ll show you how difficult the raid really is.

New raid makes your endgame builds look weak

How difficult is the raid? The raid is really difficult, especially for players who are not fully prepared. The activity is similar to a scaled-down form of the one known from Destiny 1 & 2. You fight against different bosses, have to wander through an area and try not to die.

You don’t need a squad to start Radiant Depths, but one is recommended, especially because of the difficulty. You also need a sophisticated endgame build with god rolls and strong armor. Consumable items like stim packs or buffs like Psychic are also beneficial for achieving the highest possible damage output.

The raid has 5 phases. After each phase there is a “checkpoint” where you can repair your equipment, replenish your inventory or adjust your build. In each phase, each player only has one life. If you lose it, you have to wait until your squad is wiped or they have completed the instance – basically like the raids in Destiny.

What rewards await at the end of the raid? There are no exotics, but there are legendarys such as weapons and armor with up to 4 stars. There should also be blueprints that match the theme of the raid so that new items can be crafted.

You can also farm the raid and complete your collection. You don’t have to wait a day for the loot to reset. Have you started the raid yet and if so, what do you think of it?
