Fake attacks to steal dog puppies

An animal shop in Colorado has been exposed to its second theft in one month when three men stole two puppies. The incident took place when the men tricked the store staff by fake a disease attack and at the same time steal two bulldog puppies.

“This guy doesn’t care, he doesn’t just steal goods, he steals live animals and doesn’t seem to care about their well -being,” Jens Larsen told ABC.

The store’s surveillance films show how one of the men suddenly collapses and pretends to have an attack. The staff runs forward to help, whereupon another man opens the cage and lifts out two puppies. Although the store staff is trying to intervene, the thieves manage to escape with the puppies.

A puppy still gone

One of the stolen dogs was later found at a street vendor and was returned on Monday night, while the other puppy is still missing.

Three people are suspected of the puppy theft. The man who fake the attack could be arrested and is now charged with, among other things, stamping for serious crime, theft and drug possession, according to Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. The police are still looking for the other perpetrators.

Previous dog theft

The store has been exposed to several dog thefts before. In February, a woman was caught on a movie when she hid a puppy in a stroller and then leaving the place, she is still not arrested.

According to the shop owner, Bulldog puppies mainly attract thieves – they can be resold for anything between $ 3,000 and $ 10,000.
