“THE CIVIL PEOPLE STARTED TO SHOOT”
The eyewitness, who witnessed the moments when the Russian army killed civilians, told what they had experienced.
Expressing that the level of violence increased day by day after the Russian soldiers took control of the city, the Ukrainian citizen said, “I was at home and I saw the Russian military convoy. Then we hid, they went to another place. When they returned, our soldiers bombed them. Russian tanks burned from morning to night.
Pieces of the exploded tanks were thrown some 900 meters away. When I went out, the tanks were burning, and then the houses started to burn. The Russians collected the corpses with their remaining vehicles. The first week was a little quiet, people could go out. The next week and the third week, they started shooting civilians,” he said.
