Extensive war crimes are committed in Sudan

The human rights group says that it involves, among other things, sexual violence against girls as young as 12, but also attacks directed at civilian targets such as hospitals and churches, as well as looting.

Since April 15 this year, fighting has been going on between the regular army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

“Civilians across Sudan are exposed to unimaginable horrors every day as the Rapid Support Forces and Sudan’s armed forces ruthlessly fight for control of the territory,” said Amnesty’s Secretary-General Agnès Callamard in a press release.
