Around 4 a.m. a report came in about a possible explosive at the house in Nieuwegein. The suspects were arrested there. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD) arrived on site to investigate. They defused the explosive. They did this to ensure both the safety of the residents and the safety of the officers themselves.
