Chile’s National Geological and Mining Service (Sernageomin) announced that seismic movements were observed after the eruption of the Lascar volcano in the Antofagasta region.

It was stated that the explosion did not affect the surrounding settlements for the time being, and a yellow alert was issued in this context.
