Explosion of anti Semitic acts in France a phenomenon far from

A wave of hatred in France. Since the attack on October 7, hostile acts against people of the Jewish faith have exploded. Four times more anti-Semitic acts last year than in the previous year, shows the CRIF (Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France) in a report which has just been published.

In detail, in 2023 there will be nearly 1,700 anti-Semitic acts compared to several hundred in 2022. The President of the National Assembly in France, herself targeted, calls for a collective start. But racism against Jews is not not born last October. Although it has regained momentum over the last 2 decades, it was already manifesting itself a very long time ago, including in the period of Antiquity.
