An explosion occurred at a car in Tosseryd in Borås municipality around midnight yesterday. According to Borås Tidning, the explosion is believed to be connected to gang crime, something the police have not yet confirmed.
The explosion took place at an apartment building. The car’s hood is blown off, but the building should not be damaged.
No one was injured and no one was arrested. The police have impounded the car and are investigating the incident as public vandalism.
Boys arrested in Malmö
In Malmö, two teenage boys have been arrested during the night after an explosion in a residential area in Rosengård.
– We have found traces that indicate that a hand grenade has been thrown. We have not found an impact site and the hand grenade is gone, says Thomas Paulsson, officer on duty at the police’s regional command center to South Sweden.
The arrested perpetrators are suspected of public destruction.
