An explosion occurred in a gate to an apartment building in Tensta in northern Stockholm during the night of Thursday.
No one is said to have been injured.
– It is an explosion that has occurred and caused material damage such as broken glass and sprinklers have been activated in the house, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.
Police were called to the scene at 01.20 after a loud bang was heard from the house.
Several police patrols and fire engines are on the scene and the national bomb disposal unit is contacted. There is no information that the explosion is connected to Wednesday evening’s shootings in Farsta.
