An explosion occurred at an apartment building in Söderkulla Malmö during the night of Friday. The police and emergency services were called at 00:32 and were able to ascertain that the entrance door had been damaged.
There are no reports of injuries, according to duty officer Magnus Lefèvre.

Police and emergency services have been called to the scene.
– At least one person is injured and has been taken to hospital by ambulance, says Nadya Norton at the police.
The explosion also caused damage to a gate.
– I have no information that the building will be evacuated.
The police are hunting one or more perpetrators.
The incident is being investigated as gross destruction of public danger and a violation of the Flammable and Explosive Goods Act.

Judge blocks Trump’s citizenship proposal
Donald Trump’s wants to prevent children born in the United States from automatically becoming American citizens.
But the proposal is now temporarily halted by John Coughenour, a federal judge in Seattle.
The Trump administration has previously announced that the proposal would be implemented on February 19.
In the United States, a person born on US territory becomes a US citizen even if the parents do not have US citizenship.

14-year-old suspected of planning mosque attack
A teenager has been arrested in Belgium, suspected of having planned an act against a mosque. The suspect, who was arrested in Brussels on Thursday, is said to hold far-right views.
Prosecutors say the attack would have been carried out on Friday and that they are investigating it as a terrorist crime. The teenager was arrested at his home following a tip. Weapons were also found during the house search.
Belgian Justice Minister Paul Van Tigchelt said the detainee was 14 years old.
According to Belgium’s intelligence service, there are around 600 people in Belgium who are considered to belong to extreme groups and are under surveillance. An increasing number of them are young people under the age of 18.

The new regime in Syria, led by the Islamist Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, looks set to throw Russia out of the strategically important naval base in Tartus, writes BBC with more media.
Syria reportedly terminated a 49-year lease agreement with Russia that would have extended to 2068.
The Tartus naval base is considered a key asset for Russia’s operations in the Middle East, Africa and the Mediterranean.
The Syrian News Agency Levant24 writes on X that the Port Authority of Tartus has terminated the contract with the Russian company that manages the port and asked them to leave immediately.
Two Russian freighters have now docked in port and are believed to be there to evacuate Russian assets and personnel.

The police then started a rescue operation.
The man was later taken to hospital, but his life could not be saved.

The police are on the scene on Drottninggatan in Stockholm after an alarm about a person breaking things in a shop.
– We are there to find out what has happened, says police spokesperson Nadya Norton.
A 55-year-old man was arrested after the incident.
According to information to Aftonbladet, it is the Chinese technology company DJI’s store that has been vandalized. The company is a world leader in the manufacture of drones.
The man is said to have entered the store and smashed goods with an iron pipe, according to the information.
