Explosion in Johannelund in Linköping – now a 36-year-old is being charged on suspicion of attempted murder

The explosive charge that detonated in Linköping in March is believed to have been aimed at a family connected to the national gang conflict. A 17-year-old boy had previously been written to the address, who is now in custody on suspicion of having shot a man dead in Västberga in October last year. He is also suspected of having shot dead two women in a villa in Tullinge the following night.

Attempted murder

In the explosion, the stairwell was destroyed and tenants in nine apartments had to be evacuated. A 36-year-old man is now charged with attempted murder and aggravated public dangerous destruction.

The man is previously unpunished and from Värmland.
