    Former President Trump’s election campaign says it was hacked by Iran, reports Politico.

    On Saturday, the campaign said some of its internal communications had been hacked by “foreign sources hostile to the United States,” citing a Microsoft report which said Iranian hackers “sent a phishing email in June to a senior official in a presidential campaign” but did not specify which campaign.

    “These documents were illegally obtained from foreign sources hostile to the United States, intended to disrupt the 2024 election and create chaos throughout our democratic process,” said Steven Cheung, a spokesman for Trump’s campaign.

    Politico themselves reportedly received emails containing documents from within the Trump campaign from an anonymous account, but they have not yet been able to confirm the campaign’s claim.

    A villa in Huddinge has caught fire.

    Eight people, among them two children, died in a landslide at a garbage dump in Kampala, Uganda, on Saturday. There were fill piles at the tip in Kiteezi that collapsed after heavy rains, according to local authorities.

    “Sadly, eight people have been found dead so far, six adults and two children,” writes the city council on X.

    14 people have been rescued and are being treated in hospital. The rescue work was still going on in the late afternoon. At the same time, the authorities ensure that the rest of the area is stable.
