Something has caused an explosion in a car in a residential area in Nynäshamn south of Stockholm, according to the police.
– We have no damage to buildings and no people have been injured, says police spokesperson Helena Boström Thomas.
The alarm about the explosion on the centrally located island of Trehörningen came at 00:28 on Tuesday night. The police have started a preliminary investigation into suspected public destruction and will examine the car.
