Explosion in a residential area in Uppsala

The alarm came in at 22:00 on Saturday evening, and the emergency services have been called to the scene. According to the alarm, the explosion must have taken place in the Lövstalöt residential area north of Uppsala.

Emergency services and police work together on site. According to Sören Gustavsson, team leader at SOS Alarm, everyone was out of the house when the emergency services arrived, and no one should have been injured. There has been no fire development since the explosion.

According to SVT’s outdoor photographer on site, it must have been a proper detonation, and witnesses have seen extensive damage to the house in question.
