There was a family in the villa who escaped unharmed in the explosion, but windows to the villa were blown out and the entrance door was damaged.
— We received an alarm from the people who live in the villa and neighbors at 00:08 and it is some kind of bomb that has detonated in the entrance, it is unclear what it is, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson at the Stockholm police.
Several patrols are on site and they are waiting for the national bomb protection for further investigation.
“We have no suspects or detainees in the case and a hunt for a perpetrator is underway,” says Daniel Wikdahl.
The incident is classified as public-dangerous devastation.
