Something has detonated at a terraced house in Huddinge south of Stockholm.

– Several people were in the home. According to the information I have received, they should not be seriously physically injured, says police spokesperson Mats Eriksson.

The front door, roof and windows were damaged in the explosion, according to the police. No other houses should have major damage.

The alarm about a loud bang in the Fullersta area came in just after four o’clock on Monday morning. The police’s bomb technician has been alerted to the scene and the rescue service and ambulance are also on site.

– We have checked several people, some have been brought in for questioning, but no one has been arrested.

The police are investigating possible connections to the ongoing wave of violence in the country.

– We are looking at what connections there are to this address, previous crimes and serious organized crime, says Mats Eriksson.
