Police and emergency services were alerted early Sunday morning about a loud bang at an address in Söderköping municipality, Aftonbladet reports.
On site, the police were able to determine that something had detonated at a residential building. The residence is said to have been empty and no one was injured in the explosion.
On the other hand, there was damage to the house, among other things, windows and an outer door are said to have been broken.
According to Folkbladet, the police have drawn up a report of dangerous devastation and have cordoned off the site while waiting for technicians. There are no suspects in the crime.
