Experts warn Pay attention to the appearance of your moles

Skin moles are formed by the placement of cells that give color to the skin under the skin in a different way than normal. The colors and shapes of moles vary. Changes in the structure of skin moles can pose a threat to health. “Melanoma, a potentially dangerous type of skin cancer, does not always cause any symptoms,” said Dr Sagar.

EVERY CHANGE DOESN’T MEAN SKIN CANCER

Some moles may change a little over the years. “Mouses can change over time,” Dr Sagar said, “as they arise and change in color, shape, and size. Some may even disappear completely. The important thing is to be aware of your skin. Because the changes that happen over months rather than years – the rapid darkening of moles – are definitely an emergency. “As with any medical issue, it’s always best to seek professional advice from your doctor if you’re worried or unsure.”

DARK SCIENCE IS ALSO AT RISK

“Those with dark skin are slightly more protected from the sun than those with very fair skin. But that doesn’t mean they can’t be exposed to enough UV rays to damage skin cells and increase the likelihood of developing melanoma. Whatever your skin type or color is, be aware of your moles and take the necessary precautions when you are outside all year.”

WHEN DO moles pose a risk?

Some changes in the structure of moles should raise suspicion of cancer. These changes can be listed as follows:

  • Change in color structure: darkening of a light colored mole, red-black discoloration
  • Growth in the size of the mole, irregularity of the edges
  • scratching on ben
  • Bleeding on moles, opening of wounds
