Failure to take adequate precautions against cancer can lead to very risky situations. Many health problems that arise in daily life are ignored. However, these minor health problems can be a sign of big problems. Doctor Jiri Kubes talked about the symptoms of cancer that are confused with other diseases. It revealed that some of the early warning signs of cancer can be mistaken for a hangover or winter sickness.
ATTENTION TO DRY MOUTH
Dr Kubes has listed the signs to watch out for. “Extreme dry mouth is sometimes a symptom of head and neck cancer, while nausea and vomiting can be associated with brain tumors or intestinal blockages. Meanwhile, symptoms of dehydration, often caused by excessive alcohol, can also be associated with certain cancers.
URINARY PROBLEMS MAY BE A SYMPTOM OF PROSTATE CANCER
“Inability to fully empty the bladder can be a sign of prostate cancer in men.”
Other symptoms of prostate cancer include:
- The need to urinate more often, usually during the night
- Difficulty starting to urinate
- Straining or taking a long time to urinate
- weak flow
- blood in the urine or blood in the semen
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I EXPERIENCE THESE SYMPTOMS?
If symptoms persist for more than a week, you may need to have them checked. “It’s important not to panic when you notice any of these symptoms, because it doesn’t mean you may have cancer, but it’s also important not to ignore anything that seems strange,” said Dr Kubes.
