General Surgery Specialist Dr. Uygar Düzci said, “A gluten-free diet is not a highly recommended situation. A gluten-free diet is a condition that occurs in people with gluten sensitivity, which we call celiac disease. If a person experiences severe bloating when they eat bread, rice, or grains, and if this bloating becomes uncomfortable, we recommend that they do not consume gluten.”
