Expert explains US action against Lion – praises Finland’s reaction to defiance: “Storm warning to future opponents”

Expert explains US action against Lion praises Finlands reaction

According to Sports expert Ismo Lehkonen, Finland was not surprised by the aggressive approach of the USA to the match. The game of lion superiority is in an effective mood, and the improved movement promises good for future matches.

The lions defeated the United States at the World Hockey Championships in Tampere on Monday night with 4-1 goals. Sports Expert Ismo Lehkonen opens up in this story three picks about playing the Lions.

1. The lions got a strong start to the match, and the show did not frighten Finland

– I am really disappointed with the US game, but in the first installment Finland played a really good start. Puck control was strong, and direct attacks were determined. Finland got six high-quality goals when the USA did not have any, Lehkonen counted.

– Apparently they thought they had come on some final cruise, and they started poking and kicking. I guess they thought that the Finnish boy was squatting when he was a little scolded in English, but the Lions aren’t like that. It was a silly choice, and Finland handled the last two batches in chaos in style. 4–1 even slightly flatter the unruly herd of Yankees.

2. Finland’s superiority has enough alternatives and power

The Lions have scored 11 goals in three matches, six of which have been born with superiority. Against the United States, Finland baked its first three goals by force, and the fourth was born Mikko Lehtonen from the stage in the republic.

According to expert Lehkonen, Finland’s effective superiority gets its opponents on its toes.

– It is a storm warning for future opponents in terms of the tournament. It hurts their five-to-five games pretty much and gets Napsu out of their active defense when there’s a fear of the cool. Finland’s superiority has been good in previous tournaments as well, and the new blocks have been quite suitable for running the superiority.

One of the new blocks is the Dallas Star Defender, who arrives in Tampere on Thursday Miro Heiskanento whom, of course, a lot of responsibility is expected in special situations as well.

– I wouldn’t want to be in the coaching shorts, but I would see that Mikael Granlundin and Heiskanen should be in the same superiority. I look forward to seeing what kind of superiority compositions the coaching team will build. At the very least, there is a choice right now.

3. The Finnish skate moved better than in the opening matches

The victory from the USA was Finland’s third World Cup home tournament. According to Lehkonen, Finland skated better against the United States than in the matches between Norway and Latvia. The rigidity brought about by a long camping is shrinking.

– I was a little worried about footwork in the first games. The boys have been at camp for weeks, and when the EHT games came to a halt, those games looked sticky and didn’t light up.

– The first games here were a bit sticky too, but now in the first set the discs had overalls on and there was relaxation in skating. When the boys look in the mirror, they still find the areas that heal through skating. This was a promising thing.

Lehkonen reminds that in an offensive game it is important to buy time for the reed player, and the non-reels offer themselves to be played with tear-off skating, for example through contacts.

– It takes hard work to come up. For example, in the latter two batches, it was seen that the packages were not activated to prevent the opponent from gaining superiority attacks. The fourth unplayed player was left in the background, and the direct attacks were a little short.

The Finnish tournament will continue on Wednesday against Sweden at 8.20 pm.
