Call of Duty: Warzone Mid-Season 4 messed around with the weapon meta. Statistics guru and weapons expert Anthony “TrueGameData” Zachman has examined the new range meta in Battle Royale and MeinMMO gives you recommendations on which weapons you should grab now.
The NZ-41 assault rifle has stayed at the top of the Call of Duty: Warzone range meta for pretty much exactly one season.
Shortly after mid-season 3, an NZ setup took over the meta with the burst barrel, which you then had to switch to auto fire. After a nerf, the NZ-41 took over the field of long-range weapons even without this trick.
The Assault Rifle is not unplayable after the Mid-Season 4 update. There are a lot of strong options, the NZ-41 is one of them. However, it is no longer meta and Warzone expert “TrueGameData” has now explained which weapons you should use for your range kills instead.

Overall, the expert sees 23 strong options in the field of range weapons without snipers. There are mainly assault rifles, but also LMGs and DMRs.

The sorting was determined by TrueGameData based on an accuracy test. He stood 150 meters from a window and counted how many balls he could sink into the window.
“Recoil is king” in Warzone and that’s why assessing hit accuracy is so crucial. The list gives a good impression of which ranged weapons are currently solid.
In addition, TrueGameData noted disadvantages of the weapons. Because good handling ensures that the weapon weakens in other areas.

Strong Options – Knockback, Damage, CoD MW and Cold War
What gun should I choose if I want low recoil? The most stable automatic weapon in the game is currently the KG M40. The part is the laser of the hour in Mid-Season 4. Disadvantage is the low damage and the correspondingly high time-to-kill.
The LMG UGM with the “Romuald 560mm DA” burst barrel also has outstanding handling. The option has already been overhauled, but remains incredibly stable. Here you have to arrange yourself with volley fire.
If you are looking for a weapon that you do not have to unlock beforehand, then the StG44 is also very popular again.
What weapon should I take if I want a lot of damage? If you want to stay stable, but do a little more damage, then grab the Cooper carbine. The disadvantage here is the low bullet speed, which makes it difficult to hit at large distances.
However, the two LMGs UGM and Whitley, both without a burst barrel, are right at the front. If you can handle the noticeable recoil and don’t mind the poor LMG mobility, then go for the big guns with even larger magazines.
However, you get the most damage with the AS44. The part really hurts, but defends itself immensely when fired. You need a lot of practice here, but it can be worth it.

Which weapon should I take when using weapons from CoD MW? Here TrueGameData sees 3 weapons in the meta:
All 3 provide you with strong damage in close combat and can also keep up at a distance – apart from the Kilo 141, which has a third damage area and takes a long time for a kill from 80 meters at the latest.
The big disadvantage of MW weapons: their poor mobility. TrueGameData compares mobility to the above LMGs UGM and Whitley.
