(Finance) – Expert.aia company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in the artificial intelligence market applied to language understanding, closed 2021 with total revenue in a range between € 30.5 million and € 31 million, slightly below the range of guidance (€ 33-35 million). The difference, the company highlights, is mainly attributable to the component of professional services, due to fewer large custom projects. Revenues from recurring licenses on the other hand, they grew by 24-25% on an annual basis to approximately 14-14.2 million euros, thus representing approximately half of total revenues.
L’EBITDA in 2021 it stood in a range between -9 and -10 million euro, against estimates in a range between -11 and -13 million euro. The outperformance reflects a effective cost controldespite the important investments linked to the expansion of the sales, marketing, research and development teams.
