The New York Rangers beat the Florida Panthers 2–1 in the second game of the Eastern Conference Finals. Rangers’ back-to-back striker Barclay Goodrow tied the wins in the match series to 1–1.
Goodrow’s fiery wrist shot slammed into the net in the 14th minute of the first overtime period. The pass was served by his team’s opening goal scorer Vincent Trocheck.
