As Microsoft previously announced, the Xbox Game Pass price hike has been applied. The new prices have officially entered into force.
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass price was one of the rare subscriptions that managed to resist the price hike in our country for a long time. However, the company recently announced that it will make some changes in the pricing of the system on a global scale.
Of course, taking into account the exchange rate difference, we can say that they kept the rate of increase in our country a little higher. On the other hand, despite the 168% hikes and new prices, there is still a special pricing in our country and when we compare the Xbox Game Pass price with other regions, it is still very affordable in our country. The system, which is 17 dollars (442 TL) in the USA, has a pricing of 121 TL in our country.
Xbox Game Pass price hiked
After this decision of the company, which went to an increase in prices globally, many gamers started to extend the Game Pass subscription period by taking advantage of the system’s vulnerability. We can already say that those who apply this method have made a big profit.
When we look at the price change made as of July 6, we see increases of 1-2 dollars globally. In our country, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription increases from 44.99 TL to 120.99 TL. Game Pass console subscription, which is valid only on consoles, increases from 29.99 TL to 79.99 TL. Although no explanation has been made about PC Game Pass before, we see that it has the same price as the console version, that is, 79.99 TL.
