Promises from Labour
The incoming Prime Minister, Starmer, intends to get both companies’ and workers’ finances in order and reduce waiting times in healthcare. He also says he will tackle immigration, but not continue to push the current government’s proposal to send asylum seekers to Rwanda.
The polling station survey was carried out by the BBC, ITV and Sky News and the results are in line with previous polls.
According to the survey, Nigel Farage’s right-wing populist Reform Party gets 13 seats and thus looks set to take several seats, at the expense of the Tories.
– My plan is to build a national mass movement in the next few years, says Farage after being elected himself.
The Liberal Democrats also make a positive result and increase by roughly 50 seats, which means more members of parliament than the party has had in over 100 years, according to Sky News.
