Exor, first half profit of 265 million

(Finance) – Exor closes the first half of 2022 with a consolidated profit equal to 265 million euros compared with 838 million in the same period last year. The decrease – explains the company in a note – is mainly attributable to the unrealized losses of the PartnerRe bond portfolio, while the result for the first half of 2021 included a non-recurring loss from deconsolidation of FCA.

As of June 30, 2022 the Net Asset Value (Nav) of Exor is equal to 25.505 billion euros, compared to 31.069 billion at December 31, 2021 (-17.9%).

There net financial position consolidated at 30 June 2022 is negative for 4,546 million euros and reflects a negative change of 622 million euros compared to the negative financial position of 3,924 million euros at 31 December 2021.
