Another history of the world, the exhibition which has just started at the Mucem in Marseille, offers a history where Europe is not at the center of the world. A change of perspective where modernity and universalism are no longer the prerogative of the West. Through sculptures, paintings, maps, decorative or archaeological objects, the exhibition highlights the great wealth of African, Asian and Oceanian civilizations since the 13th century.
