– It is a work vehicle that has gone through the ice and we fear that one person has died in this accident, says police spokesperson Maria Linné to TV4 Nyheterna.
The alarm came just before 11 on Friday morning, and according to SVT Nyheter Västernorrland, the machine went through the ice in connection with work for a felling.
Divers from both the police and the Coast Guard are participating in the search.

The police are classifying the incident as a workplace accident and have handed over the investigation to prosecutors.
