Officers secured the scene, located between Winter Line Road and Crow Road, and called in the forensic unit to obtain images and collect the bones. All evidence has been forwarded to the Office of the Chief Coroner for further examination.
“Preliminary examination suggests the bones were deposited many years ago, indicating they are of historical nature. . .,” police said. “There is no concern for public safety.”
