Evolution today on TV then the serial killer series continues

Wait, shouldn’t the episodes 5 and 6 of the 2nd season of Criminal Minds: Evolution run on TV tonight? Since the beginning of March, Sat.1 has shown the continuation of the popular serial killer series on German Free TV. Every Tuesday there are two new episodes in a double pack. Today, however, we have to do without. The reason: football.

Sat.1 interrupts the broadcast of the 2nd season of Criminal Minds: Evolution for that Game of the German U21 national team against Spainwhich flickers over the screens from 8:30 p.m. The reporting of Ran football begins from 7:50 p.m. After the game, another RAN edition follows with the review.

When continues Criminal Minds: Evolution on Sat.1?

Don’t panic: Sat.1 does not take off the program Criminal Minds: Evolution. After today’s football interruption, the free TV premiere of season 2 will continue on Tuesday as usual next week. Specifically, the broadcast dates were as follows:

  • Season 2, episode 5 and 6 run on April 1, 2025 From 8:15 p.m.
  • Season 2, episode 7 and 8 run from the April 8, 2025 From 8:15 p.m.
  • Only for the last two chapters of season 2, the broadcast dates have not yet been determined. If Sat.1 maintains the current publication plan, episode 9 and 10 on April 15, 2025 should be shown on German free TV.

Like the 1st season, the 2nd season of Criminal Minds: Evolution follows a coherent story. This is the biggest change compared to the original that ran from 2005 to 2020. Not a case of the week, but a story that extends over several episodes – in this case: the hunt for gold star.

Last week we learned more about the dark secret about Gold Star. As it turns out, the construction unit was wrong with its first assumption in terms of the new serial killer risk. Not only a killer hides behind gold star. A whole group of unpredictable psychopaths were up to mischief here.

A small consolation for crime fans in today’s TV program

While Criminal Minds clears the field for the Germany Spain game, Sat.1 sticks to another popular crime series at a late hour. From 11:00 p.m. the station will show two new FBI consequences. First there is the 2nd episode of the 6th season of FBI: Special Crime Unit. This is followed by the 2nd episode of the 5th season of FBI: Most Wanted.
